My favorite Brandeis tradition is the 24 hour musical because the whole Brandeis community comes together whether it be as part of the cast, crew, or audience to support one another! Though it is definitely chaotic, it is always a good time where fun memories are created!
Sociology of Education with Professor Derron Wallace. The class pushed me to grow through discomfort and Professor Wallace really cared about getting to know each and everyone of us in the class. This class allowed me to not only think about problems in education but the intersection of societal problem and our own role in them, and how to create change beyond ourselves.
I wanted to be able to explore all of my interests both through my academics and extracurricular involvements. At Brandeis, I've been able to explore all my interests through classes I've taken, research I've conducted, and clubs I've joined. One other reason why I chose Brandeis was for the community! The size of Brandeis' campus has allowed me to form a strong community where I feel supported and like I can support others.
Hanging out with friends! Whether it be at rehearsals for my a capella group or the theater production I'm working on or simply hanging out I love spending time with my friends and the people that the Brandeis community so special.
