I really enjoy our Night for Africa event. The Brandeis African Students Organization plans the event, and it takes place every fall semester. At the event, students dance, sing, and walk in a fashion show at the end.
Health Activism was definitely one of my favorite courses. The course is taught by Professor Muigai. We discussed the correlation between race and health and how factors such as: the environment, socioeconomic status, and race affect people's access to healthcare.
I wanted to be a part of a community that was close-knit. In my time at Brandeis, I have also noticed my peers dedication to social justice issues. Brandeis students are committed to creating change on and off campus.
I really enjoy studying at the Boston Public Library. The Boston Public Library is beautiful and massive. Usually, I go to the library with my friends to study on weekends. The library is also located near Newbury street, so I always get to grab a quick bite while I am studying.
