spending time volunteering with second graders at one of the local elementary schools, Climbing with the Brandeis Climbing team, and Tossing with the Women's Ultimate Frisbee Team.
I chose Brandeis because it stood out from the rest of the schools I applied to. It really checked all my boxes, it was a perfect size, we have great access to a city and the student body was so incredibly friendly and welcoming and the professors are really incredible inside and outside of the classroom. I also loved that all Brandeis students were passionate about so many different things, and I felt like I could create my own path here.
Studying in Upper Mandel!! There are all these beautiful colored lights, and it has a beautiful view of the campus. My favorite place in Waltham is definitely Café on the Common, its such a great place to study and grab a coffee with friends!
My favorite class I have taken is Global Justice and Society in transition with Professor Melisa Stimell. She is phenomenal, and the class really instilled my desire to work in the international development and human rights fields.
