Brandeis allows me to seamlessly combine both of my passions for science and the arts into one college career. I am not only able to study both Biology and Music, but I can participate in theatrical productions while simultaneously conducting research in a lab as well.
"Messiah" Sing Holiday Tradition - every December, students, staff, and members of the community gather in the Shapiro Campus Center to sing along to Handel's "Messiah" with an orchestra and choir. Everyone is dispersed throughout the three levels of the building, and they even make it "snow" at the end!
Don Katz (Intro to Behavioral Neuroscience) because the very first time I went to his office hours about the course, he wanted to know about me and my interests. We shared a common curiosity for the interaction of music and the brain, and we spent the entire time talking about that!
