The Chapels. My first semester my sleep schedule was CRAZY, which meant my workouts often happened late at night. I purposefully end my runs at the chapel because it is so gorgeous, calm, and statuesque. I love the spirit of equality the buildings represent, and it reminds me of the ideals I strive to live by myself.
It's so tough to choose! I have to say two. My first is Professor Altman. He taught American Healthcare, which I took my first semester at Brandeis. Although it was a 100+ person into lecture, he made it feel like a 15 person seminar. His lectures were 3 hours once a week, but they were the highlight of my week. I was like a 3 hour informative comedy show, we even had some inside jokes between the two of us. He is incredibly intelligent, understanding, and had decades of stories from DC, The Hill, and first hand experience with the material he taught.
My most memorable Brandeis experience will always be those moments where I'm in the wings of the stage, waiting for a cue, watching my cast mates perform with their whole heart, and enjoying the fact that I have been able to participate in yet another amazing Brandesian showcase of talent. I love to take moment to reflect on what the cast has built, on my friends in the audience who came to support me, and the amazing college community I now get to call home.
Messiah Sing! I love when the snowflakes get dropped from the SCC balconies as the choir and orchestra sing.
