My favorite activity is to sit in Upper Usdan, a hang out spot with multiple food options, with my friends after a late night study session. We would all sit around a table at around 10pm eating multiple pints of ice cream, listening to music and just chatting until the wee hours of the morning.
While Waltham and Boston are great, but there are so many amazing places on campus that there is really no reason to leave. My favorite place on campus is the bamboo garden.
Of the people. Brandeisians are a one of a kind type of people. Intellectual, and passionate- everyone at Brandeis, from faculty to student body, wants to change the world. It is not a competitive environment where people tear each other down, rather it is a supportive and welcoming environment that makes me feel empowered. I chose Brandeis because everyone is a family. I knew that in this family atmosphere I would be able to change the world.
The first snow. When the first major snow storm hits, everyone goes outside to have massive snowball fights, make towering snowmans and sled. The best of this time is to sled down the massive hill next to the library!
