I chose Brandeis because of its stellar academic reputation, proximity to Boston, the financial aid I received, and the interesting programs into which I was admitted. I have enjoyed my time here as much as I have, however, because the people here are wonderful. From the moment I stepped foot on campus, it has truly felt like I was part of a lifelong community.
Brandeis takes Kindness Day very seriously. Everyone writes positive messages on the sidewalks and sends notes to the people who have made their Brandeis experience even better. It makes for a really warm and caring environment--both on the day itself and throughout the year.
Three words: Board Game Nights. My roommates and I regularly have game nights. It's a great way for us to spend time together and unwind after school.
My favorite place on campus is the hill next to Skyline (our newest residence hall). It has the best view of Boston on campus and the remains of a cool castle.
