I love anything that has to do with bettering my overall physical health and well-being. I love doing pilates and practicing meditation at Gosman or Village's hidden gym. I also love to appreciate nature and life. Most nights I will either go star or moon gazing. I enjoy photography and take photos of the moon, sky, stars, sunrises and sunsets!
As a low-income, first-generation college student the entire college process was extremely overwhelming and difficult. I knew I wanted to come to an institution that was diverse in all aspects, but also to be apart of a community with other students who have gone through similar experiences/situations as me. I discovered the Myra Kraft Transitional Year Program and knew it was the best fit for me. I wanted to be apart of a cohort and have extra support resources with peers/mentors who have the same admiration and desire in higher education despite their life adversities.
Kindness day! I love being able to brighten someone's day and remind them how special and worthy they are.
Becoming a Student Admissions Ambassador! I love working at Admissions and meeting prospective students and families to help them with their college decision. It is an honor to work at the front desk and give tours!
