My most memorable Brandeis experience?

My most memorable Brandeis experience was spending a summer doing field ecology research with Environmental Studies faculty and students. I was part of a team that conducted research on plant biodiversity in Eastern Massachusetts and got to spend an amazing summer hiking, and learning about local ecology with my classmates.

I chose Brandeis because...

I chose Brandeis because of the unmatched campus culture. Everybody I have interacted with on campus cares about one another, and making the world a better place. The Brandeis community is made up of the friendliest and most down to Earth people I've ever met.

My favorite Brandeis class/professor is...

My favorite Brandeis class is "The American Congress" taught by Professor Jill Greenlee. During the class, we were each assigned a member of Congress to represent - acting as their staffers for the semester. Our assignments included drafting and lobbying for legislation and writing letters to constituents. I loved the unique hands-on learning style of this class, and Professor Greenlee is really passionate about the material, which made classes energizing.

My favorite place on campus, in Waltham or in Boston is...

My favorite place in Waltham is Prospect Hill Park, about a 10 minute drive from campus with lots of hiking trails and nature to explore. At the summit of the hill is a lookout point with some of the best views of the city of Boston.
