My most memorable Brandeis experience is when one night some friends came over randomly. I was having a rough week, but they came to make me smile. We played games and watched a movie. It was absolutely amazing.
My favorite place in Boston is Boston Boda Borg. I went there with my roommates senior year, fall semester. We wanted to do a roommate bonding trip and we got to be little kids again. Climbing monkey bars, working together and just having so much fun with close friends.
I chose Brandeis because of the collaboration and community. Everyone genuinely wanted to help me and get to know who I was as a person. When I first visited the school my mom and I went to have lunch in one of the dining halls. My mom got up for more food and a group of girls came over to ask if they could sit at our table. They asked me who I was and wanted to be my friend. It was the comforting and easy connection with complete strangers that made me feel at home already. Ever since coming to Brandeis I have continued to experience the community as a helpful and comforting resource.
Professor Morris is my favorite Brandeis professor because he has such a passion for what he does. He puts in so much time to connecting with students that it makes you want to learn more.
