VolunteerFest! Every year as a part of Orientation, new and current students give back to the Waltham community. It's the perfect way to get introduced to the huge network of volunteer groups at Brandeis and meet a ton of new people!
The people! I know it's so cliche, but everyone here truly is extremely kind. The second I stepped onto campus I had a gut feeling that this was the place for me - and I was right! I have met so many amazing people here and made many friends for life.
Taking night walks! I love the Brandeis campus at all times of the day, but there is something special about exploring when no one is around. I was worried when coming to college that I would feel unsafe being alone on campus, especially at night, but thankfully I have felt nothing but safe here. I love walking to the Rose Art Museum and sitting by the Light of Reason while listening to some music. There's no better way to unwind after a night of homework!
Anything with Adrianne Krstansky in the Theater Department! She is so attentive to each and every student in her class. You will undoubtedly become a better actor in her classes and leave with a greater understanding of the world.
