My favorite Brandeis class/professor is...

Prof. Ellen Schattschneider, is my favorite, no doubt! She is the Undergraduate Advising Head of the Anthropology Department and she teaches courses about Anthropology of Religion, Cultural and Psychological Anthropology, as well as East Asian Studies and Women and Gender Studies. I like to say that out of everyone I know, I would choose her to be my all-time therapist, because she is a great listener, but also very intelligent and wise.

I chose Brandeis because...

our plural community is full with people from all backgrounds and walks of life, which creates a very unique environment with so many perspectives and passions are shared. I am always learning something new and opening my eyes to other ways of appreciating the world.

My most memorable Brandeis experience?

Feeling included and welcome in a community here is very important to me. One example I could mention is when the Brazilian Student Association organized a screening of the World Cup and we all got to laugh and cry together.

My favorite activity outside of class is...

going down to Waltham with my friends to eat or go to the arcade is always really fun! I also like to join the cultural events that are always happening around campus. Everyone puts a lot of effort in organizing them and it's always such a good time to get to see more of a different culture.

I'm passionate about...

Positive peace building Positive Psychology Education

I'm involved with...

Brazilian Student Association Davis Scholar Latin American Studies Research
