the 24 hour musical! I love walking through the SCC and seeing all the performers different backgrounds come together to learn their parts, dance, and perform for the entire community! Being a part of it my first year led me to some of my closest friendships and it was a great way for me to get into the art community!
the people were so welcoming to me! During my visit, it was my first time going to the East Coast as a West Coast native, and having the student body and Brandeis community be so welcoming was what first drew me to the school. I also saw that the growth and learning opportunities at Brandeis would foster my passion, creativity, and leadership! Seeing how students grow to become more confident through curiosity made me excited to apply my own knowledge in any given setting, ultimately allowing me to give back to my community!
being a part of my acapella group! My group and its members have provided me a safe space to be myself, feel supported during tough times, and inspires me to be a better musician, students, and leader! Performing with one of the most supportive people on Brandeis campus has given me a lot of strength and innovates me to support my overall community!
the Rose Art Museum! I love any type of art and having the Rose Art Museum as a resource has been amazing! It's a safe space for me to remain grounded, especially during a hectic week, and it's such an inspiring space that encourages inclusivity, equity, and identity within the art community and the general Brandeis community!
