working for Southeast Asia club. We display different events that are free to the Brandeis public in order to share and celebrate Southeast Asia culture with the rest of the student body.
The people on campus are the most welcoming, dedicated, and passionate people I have ever met. When walking on campus, you will always find so many friendly faces. Their eagerness to help others and to make new friends is what makes the Brandeis student body like family to me.
Magical Realism and Modern Myth taught by Professor David Sherman. We read a plethora of novels from authors originating from all over the world. Each novel had aspects of magical realism infused with their character's everyday lives. We then used these elements to see how they emphasize certain thematic elements and what it says about society socially, politically and economically.
Attending the annual culture shows put together by our many culture clubs here on campus. Not only am I able to eat amazing food from different parts of the world, I loved being able to learn something new about different cultures and how they are so significant to people within the Brandeis population.
