I chose Brandeis because of the range of opportunities the school offers for every student. I was accepted into the International Business School Scholars Program, which is allowing me to spend 5 years at Brandeis and graduate with a BA and MA degree. Brandeis has given me the full ability to explore any subject I am interested in, and take courses in many varied disciplines. I also chose Brandeis for the fantastic advising the school provides, in addition to the stellar faculty. Every person at Brandeis wants to help you succeed, and interactions with staff and faculty are always personal and helpful.
My favorite activity outside of class is hanging out with my friends on campus or around Waltham and Boston. I have made lifelong friends at Brandeis whom I always have the best time with!
My favorite Brandeis class is Protest Through Song: Music that Shaped America taught by Professor Musegades. I would highly recommend this course to anybody, as it offers very interesting course material, fantastic music, and a great perspective of how music has shaped and interacted with American history and social change.
My favorite place on campus is Chapel's Field because it is a beautiful space to relax on a sunny day. My favorite place in Waltham is Charcoal Guido's, which is where you can find my favorite pizza in all of Massachusetts! They have a wide variety of food and very friendly service. My favorite place in Boston is Brighton Music Hall because its an intimate venue where you can dance and listen to great music!
