My favorite Brandeis class is called "Divas" and is taught by Professor Emily Frey. The class is interesting and very enjoyable, and the professor does a wonderful job leading an engaging and interactive seminar. The course covers the lives of historical divas beginning with Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179) and ending with Beyoncé (1981-current). Divas is an incredibly unique course, and does an excellent job framing historical divas in an empowering, inspiring way. I recommend the course to anyone who has the opportunity to take it!
My favorite place in Waltham is Charcoal Guido's, which is where you can find my favorite pizza in all of Massachusetts!
Going dancing and hearing bands play live at Brighton Music hall with my friends.
I chose Brandeis because of the range of opportunities the school offers for every student. I was accepted into the International Business School Scholars Program, which is allowing me to spend 5 1/2 years at Brandeis and graduate with a BA and MBA degree. Brandeis has given me the full ability to explore any subject I am interested in, and take courses in many varied disciplines. I also chose Brandeis for the fantastic advising the school provides, the professors who always make time for their students, and the stellar faculty.
