My favorite Brandeis class is Introduction to Behavioral Neuroscience with Dr.Katz! He is so friendly and extremely knowledgeable and is always down for a chat in his office!
My most memorable Brandeis experience so far has been Fall Flex! Fall Flex is a concert held in the fall by the Campus Activities Board in the Levin Ballroom on campus. We had really cool artists, Sage the Gemini, Social House, and Cash Cash, perform and it was a ton of fun as the artists would allow us to even take photos with them!
I chose Brandeis for a variety of reasons. The welcoming and friendly community truly wants to support you in being the best person you could be and they are always here to help. People are always smiling on campus and say hi even if they don't know you and perform small acts of kindness from holding the door for you to helping carry your mail packages back to your dorm(even if they don't even know you!). I also chose Brandeis because I knew I wanted to study neuroscience and its neuroscience program was remarkable and had world renowned professors who had even received Nobel prizes. Additionally, I wanted a campus that had a lot always happening on campus and a very dedicated student body, so when I found out that there were over 200 student run clubs that I could join, I was very happy to know that I could continue my interests from high school and maybe even start new ones at Brandeis as well. After coming to Brandeis, I can definitely say that I made the best decision of my life. I have a huge support system here from friends to faculty and I have immersed myself into various activities on campus that make me really happy.
My favorite Brandeis tradition so far has been Midnight Buffet! On the last day of classes at midnight, the Student Union puts on a huge free buffet for everyone to enjoy with good music and company!
