My favorite Brandeis class/professor is...

My favorite professor is Professor Slodden, my sociology professor. The first week, I went to her office hours to ask her some questions about the course. After, she asked me how I was doing, how my roommate was, and other questions about how my year was going. She really made me feel included and cared about.

My favorite activity outside of class is...

Pottery Club! I did pottery for two years prior to Brandeis, and I'm so glad I can continue to be involved here on campus and share my love for ceramics.

My favorite Brandeis tradition is...

Light the Night! I loved writing my aspirations for my next four years here at Brandeis on a candle and turning them on among fellow students during orientation, in front of the Rose Art Museum.

I wanted to be part of a welcoming and collaborative community with an environment of acceptance and a passion for social justice. Brandeis fit exactly what I was looking for! I feel like I have really found my people and my place.
