Definitely spending time with my friends and being able to explore Boston and Waltham which are both so close to campus!
I immediately wanted to join this community that shared a passion for social justice and the betterment of society. I truly desired to be surrounded by people who wanted to build each other up, rather than compete at the expense of one another. The combination of their social justice initiatives as well as their selfless, caring study body led me to choose Brandeis.
Daniel Breen. Aside from his extensive knowledge of the law, as well as his countless other knowledgeable subjects, he takes the initiative to get to know his students and has inspired me to think more passionately about civil rights and their historical implications on today's modern society.
Kindness Day celebrations! Each year, Brandeis celebrates this day by providing students the opportunity to write notes to their friends which are later delivered. The day is also filled with many other special tabling events which include free food, coloring and lots of positivity.
