Tatte Bakery & Caffe at Harvard Square. I take the free Brandeis shuttle (the BranVan) to Harvard Square in Cambridge and hangout with my friends in the cafe while munching on some delicious baked goods. Their paninis are so good!
Thursday night trivia at The Stein! The Stein is the fried-food restaurant on campus. Such a fun way to end the week with your friends.
Definitely first-year orientation! I met some of my greatest friends, and it was a really great way to start off my college career. My orientation leaders made sure that I felt supported while also telling us all the great things Brandeis has to offer. Dean of Students Jameel Adams also put on "This is Our House" which is an awesome performance that promotes diversity and equality.
I was unsure of where I wanted to go, and was conflicted between a couple schools. But, at the last minute, a friend and I drove to the Brandeis campus, and we stopped a random student and asked the why they chose Brandeis. This student talked to us for 3 hours, bought us dinner, and told us all about the Brandeis community. The kindness that this student showed us and the overall Brandeis community made my decision easy. I wanted to be a part of the amazing student body that is Brandeis :)
