I chose Brandeis because...

from an academic standpoint, I have really enjoyed the interdisciplinary curriculum of the HSSP department because it has been exposed to taking classes in departments such as sociology or anthropology that I would not have taken otherwise. I also really enjoy how important research is emphasized, while still being a medium sized university.

My favorite activity outside of class is...

Hanging out with friends both on campus as well as going into the Boston area with them.

My favorite place on campus, in Waltham or in Boston is...

Boston Common, which is Boston and has a lot of fun shops and is a really nice place to walk around, especially as the weather gets warmer.
