Light the Night! All first year students write an aspiration on a candle of what they want to get out of their 4 years at Brandeis and everyone lights their candle while the lights outside the Rose Art Museum light up.
My most memorable Brandeis experience so far was an activity we did during orientation at the lights of reason. We came together the first night of orientation as a class and all wrote a word on a candle about why we came to Brandeis. It was a super nice way for me to meet people that I am still friends with now.
My favorite place in Boston would be Newbury street because I love just walking in the city. Also there are a ton of great coffee shops all down that street so its a great place to do homework.
I chose Brandeis because of the academic opportunities that it offers to students. Also when I first walked onto this campus I felt an instant feeling of community and that was something that mattered a lot to me. Also I really wanted to be in a campus setting but really close to a big city, and Brandeis fit those boxes.
