I joined the Brandeis University Mock Trial Association during my first semester on campus despite having never done it before, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've met some of my closest friends through it, and it continues to be something I've become passionate about.
The involvement fair! At the beginning of every semester, over 200 clubs gather to showcase who they are, and it is always so overwhelming because of the sheer number of clubs I want to join. There is always a club for whatever you want to get involved with.
Professor David Katz, a history professor, has been one of my biggest supporters. I've taken three classes with him so far, and I plan on taking more because he is knowledgeable, down to earth, and always available if I need help. He even helped me get an internship over the summer in Los Angeles!
Fenway Park! I've learned how easy it is to get from campus to the stadium, and it's a great place to go with friends or if you need to relax a little bit. The Red Sox also sell student tickets, so you sit with other college students and enjoy the game!
